I bought this chair for my in-laws so they can use it inside their shower stall and also move the chair around for other purposes. The chair takes me about five minutes to put together. The chair is very comfortable for them to sit and dress after shower. It also turns out that this chair can be raised really high even for their kitchen counter so if necessary, they can use the chair for other temporary purpose around the house. This chair does not have suction cups like most shower chairs on Amazon; but it has non-slip rubber tips/cups at the bottom so the chair is very stable in and out of their shower stall.
This seat says lightweight and the legs are not heavy but it is a solid solid seat and is very very sturdy. I am right at the weight limit, the seat is large enough for an ample backside and this is very comfortable. I have a small shower in width and the footprint fits perfectly. The height is perfect and adjustable. It was higher priced than most and I am glad I spent the money and not mess around. I feel safe using it for support when washing my hair and not worry about my knees giving out while trying to shower.
It came, I snapped it together in about five minutes, put it in the shower and my wife tells me every day how much she likes it and how much more secure it makes her feel. Then it comes out of the shower to the front of the sink and is just the right height to double as a makeup bench. I’m delighted we found this.

The legs do not seem especially stable, but they have been fine in the shower. I appreciate the non-slip caps on the legs. Overall, I like this item and feel safer in the shower for having it. I think it’s slightly overpriced, but I needed the extra height.
